Q: I cant seem to send mail from my laptop, while mail from your webmail interface goes correctly. Please help. A: Try the following: 1. Make sure that your 'Outgoing server requires authentication' is checked in Outlook settings. 2. Set the port of SMTP server in Outlook setting to 26 instead of 25 3. Speak to your ISP or internet connection provider about allowing private SMTP servers 4. Speak to your system administrator for lan or wan issues. 5. Check your corporate or personal firewall settings to allow mail sending 6. If all else fails, uninstall your mail program, then re-install it and enter your mail settings again. |
